Food Safety at Sea
Under the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006 catering staff and other persons processing food shall be suitably qualified in food safety or food hygiene. The Maritime Coastguard Authority (MCA) has published a list of accredited qualifications which must be delivered by an approved training under strict examination conditions.
