Food business operators have a legal responsibility to implement a food safety management system based on the principles of HACCP. This qualification provides those working in catering or manufacturing with the knowledge they need to understand prerequisites, preliminary steps and the principles of HACCP. They will also appreciate how their role can affect food safety and how they can contribute to the HACCP system and product safety.
The assessment method for this course is a 1 hour multiple-choice examinaton, consisting of 30 questions. To pass the candidates must correctly answer 20 questions out of 30.
