This one-day course has developed by subject matter experts for those seeking a recognised qualification in auditing and inspection. Suitable for anyone who conducts internal audits within an organisation or audits external food business operators.
Candidates on this course will gain practical/theoretical knowledge in how to plan and conduct an effective audit or inspection, and present findings in clear and actionable report. Course content is particularly useful for those conducting internal audits to verify compliance with BRCGS and GFSI certification scheme standards.
A published BRGCS compliance report shows internal auditing is a top non-conformity reported by external auditors. We offer practical step by step guidance in conducting an effective audit and common pitfalls to avoid. Content also covers how to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
Upon successful completion, the candidate will gain an Ofqual regulated level 3 qualification in effective auditing and inspection recognised by EHOs, employers and external auditors.

Assessment Method
The candidate must complete a 1 hour examination consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions. To achieve a pass the candidate must answer at least 18 out of 30 questions correctly or 24 for a distinction.
