Inspections and audits are important to the safety and intergrity of food. Competent auditors and inspectors help to ensure food businesses are capable of producing safe food and comply with current food safety legislation. Regular audits demonstrate management commitment to a positive food safety culture. This one day specialist qualification is aimed at supervisors, team leaders, food production managers, catering managers and anyone else with a responsibility for verification, auditing or inspection. Learners on this course will gain knowledge in how to carry out an effective audit or inspection.

Assessment Method

 

The candidate must complete a 1 hour examination consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions. Learners must achieve a minimum of 20 correct answers in order to pass, and they will receive a merit for achieving a mark of 25 or more.

 

 

 

Option 1: Open Courses

Option 2: In-house
